Whatever you do please do NOT chrome your trim, if anything get it painted to match the rest of the car.

^ what he said and do NOT shave the moldings unless you know what the hell you're doing. I've seen so many nasty jobs it's not even funny. The worst part is trying to shave the moldings on the bumpers. The material is not very susceptible to the usual "bondo". I've seen a few jobs done very nicely, but it's rare. So... yeah.

you should put side exit exhausts, yeah baby shootin' flames at your rear tires. j/k
maybe you should just remove your side trim, it seems like it's usually falling anyway.

NO CHROME! GAH! Painting your body trim body color is nice as is a nicely done shaving of them. But for the sake of your car, no chrome. Think of the children.

i was going to build a sleeper but the exhaust is too restrictive so my question answered itself by mazda, these cars need straight 3" pipes front to rear!

i know right, people just expect rx-7's to be fast, which most are. but come'on man my 1985 RX-7 GS 12a...must be the exhaust leak.

yeah, i am used to american cars with V8s, you can force enough through restriced muffled exhaust to make them fast yet quiet. working with a 1.3L it is impossible unless you make them deafening....

Arrow

I have an s4 with an s5 front bumper. I am going to paint the moulding to match the body rather than paint the whole of my bumper and leave the moulding black. I think if i do it like this noone would really notice that the moulding doesnt match up. Anyone with experience?
