Don't buy one now. Just wait a few weeks or a month or few and you will be happy you did...

Aaron is reffering to his B&M one, which is supposed to be cheaper then the other B&M one @ Summit Racing.

Other kits:
Mazdaracing
Miata short throw (check out the archeives)
Mazdatrix
C's
HiGGi
Ebay style

I just installed a Miata short throw in mine and works well. The throw is very short, and very precise. I will say though that it is a tight fit. I found it kind of hard to put into reverse, I think I hurt my arm. Maybe it just needs to be worked in a little.

The Mazdatrix on is car specific, it is nothing that the shifter does that rattles. At least that whats they say I dont know if its true.

B&M does not make a shifter for the FC, only for the FD.

My shifter eliminates bushings and all stock slop, and will be cheaper (much) then the Mazdatrix short shifter.

It has taken longer because we are trying to eliminate all rattle problems and have had other things come up in the meantime, biut it will get released eventually.

Yea my car came with a f'ed up shifter. How it got ruined? I don't know.. But I might just take my chances with this ebay Miata short throw thing in the mean time till Aaroncake debuts the long awaited shorty shifter. I just hope Aaron has enough for everybody.
