I wish I could but it's just attracting far too much attention from the police. When I first started driving I wasn't the smartest of drivers and did some pretty stupid things which helped build my record up. Now that I've grown up and started driving normally it's a bit too late. My car is flagged and I get pulled over for doing nothing wrong. Last week, I got pulled over three times in one night, didnt get a ticket all three times until the last ***** decided to give me a VI for no apparent reason. I'm just not prepared to deal with this anymore. I was also hit by another car 6 months ago, I called the police to report a hit and run and somehow I got dragged into the incident as a street racer. I received no tickets on the scene but somehow managed to receive a promise to appear in court for street racing. I was completely innocent just being judged by cops and a witness. So, family lawyer made sure justice was in order and I walked away with nothing. But, that was after a year of stressing out, 6 month temporary license suspension, 15 day car impoundment, and 5 grand in lawyer fees. This car is amazing, but its not worth all this to me. I realize I made some mistakes that many new drivers make, but unfortunately, now that I've been labelled with this car, theres no changing it.

Thumbs up

Heh, I actually don't know very many new drivers that do things that involve extensive court proceedings.

But hey, maybe I just live in a nice neighborhood

well I was completely innocent. It's not like my actions lead me to court. If I was street racing why the hell would I call the police and report it? There was absolutely no case against me in court, the witness was discredited and the cop was just an idiot. If anything lead me to court it was a gungho cop and a biast witness combined with some common stereotypes associated with new drivers and done-out cars. My car was on the tow truck and they were throwing things out of it looking frantically. When I asked what they were looking for they just simply replied, "Nitrous or narcodics." So apparantly, when you get hit by another driver who decides to take off, instead of trying to figure out who that guy is, they jump to the conclusion that I'm street racing, trying to pull some kind of insurance scam with a car full of narcodics and nitrous. pshhh

Why not just store it for a while...maybe then the cops will forget about you. Or why don't you go to the police station and tell them enough is enough, you've grown up and you're not going to dick around any more, and you can't stand what they're doing to you.

I duno...might not work, but you never know. Plus that car's too much of a gem to sell, it looks like A LOT of time, work, and money went into it.

If you do wind up selling it, try to sell it to someone on the forum who will appreciate it and not **** it up. If I had money I'd take her off your hands...as I'm sure a bunch of other FC guys would, but we're all broke.

Good luck,
James

haha well thanks. I'll post my selling link from bcrx7.com here because its got a mod list and I'm too lazy to do another one. Their forum is down right now though so it will be a little while. My friend actually is considering buying the car which would be good because he's the one that worked on it with me. I dont think he'll follow through though :P. Yes its a TII by the way, and no I dont have an engine bay pic but I'll try and take one this week.

sucks that the cops harass you, theres only a couple around here that do so, the rest are cool "law abiding" police officers though. too bad you want to sell it, chances are some kids mom will buy it for him and he won't respect or take care of it and it'll turn to ****. I got a sleeper 91' colt you can get as long as you don't mind driving 3,000miles to get it j/k

I would just move, it doesnt seem like changing cars is going to solve the problem, then you'll just be driving something shitty and get pulled over still. You put hard work into that car, dont let everyone else ruin it for you.
