Shift ****

I just bought a new momo shift **** but the old one won't come out. Does it just turn out or is there a set screw some where?

well, the nut has to be turned in the tightening direction to loosen it.

I had that happen, sounds like the threaded part in the **** is spinning (in the ****). Try wrapping the neck of the shift **** in a rag, and use a vice grips to screw it on. It will keep the inside threads from staying put while the **** spins around it.

I'm thinking about turning it relative to the ****, not the shifter shaft.
