Shift Buzzer -Rev Limiter

Shift Buzzer -Rev Limiter

I've asked this before but the other day at 6500RPM the buzzer rang at the same time engine died out,I did this twice to comfirm. Do I need a new CPU or what please advise.

The CPU has nothing to do with the Shift buzzer. It controls the Horn, tail/parking lights, Key in ignition switch door and light buzzer, brake light warning.

The shift buzzer is in the gauge cluster.

Ok but tell me about the engine dying at 6500 I know its a rev limiter but why so low

engine dying out is a problem the fuel cut or true rev limiter is at 7800 the buzzer just goes off at 6.5 so your slow *** will compute it in your brain to shift by the time it gets to 7k or atleast thats what they think
