seatbelt stopped working

I took the motor apart and It looks fine upon inspection. It spins fine, but the cable is jammed up. I haven't taken apart the track to see if the cable is broke or caught up on something, but I think it has to be the problem since the motor works fine. Any input would be appreciated and I would be interested in prices if anyone has some parts for me. Thanx.

fixed for free at the Mazda dealer as part of the lifetime recall on the mouse belts.

But probably not now for you, if you dis-assembled them

Mine was replaced, then jammed again a few years later.

I rolled it to the back position, pulled the fuse, and pulled the control box.
Then I would just slide under the belt as I got in the car.

The "mouse trap sholder belt" was one of the NTSB's dumber ideas.

I imagine the fuse is fine because the motor was spinning perfectly fine when I took the cable housing off of the spindle

just take it to the dealer. they'll replace it for free as many times as they have to in order to keep them working. i took mine to get done and when the plugged in my vin to their computer they said it had already been done twice before so this was the third time they've done it. they work like new now though.
