SEARCHED!!! WHeel offset help!

ok, so i searched already and cant find anything to help. I need help to see if the ICW Racing Trident wheel will fit on the FC. I can not find anything about the offset size of the wheel, and i know the lug pattern is fine, but im not sure if i will need spacers or what! anyone use this wheel, or know how to find that information?

Question

ok, just finally found out some numbers on the wheel... but i read up and i really dont get the whole offset stuff and all that... the wheel is

17 x 7.0 (+42mm) 4 x 100 / 4.50

so does this mean that the wheel wont stick out very far, and i will have to use spacers?

sorry for the newb q's

Fitment is also dependent on what tires you use.

I would use a 5mm spacer, at most; I am using 17x7 wheels with a +38mm offset, and they are a very nice fit.

oh, wow. those wheels won't work for you. I don't know where you heard the lug pattern is "fine", but the wheels you're looking at are a 4x100 bolt pattern. That is NOT right for ANY FC.

why don't you save your money and do a 5lug brake swap??

you'll be happier than just having perty wheels on small brakes,

Those won't fit on a FC.

The 4 lug pattern is 114.3x4

the 42 ET offset is okay though since the stock offset is 40ET.

Yes... 100x4 is wrong for a FC... the stock 4 lug is 114.3x4

dude, you just said you had a 4-lug car, did you not? you can't fit 5-lug wheels on a 4-lug configuration. 5x114.3 will work on a stock 5-lug configuration on an FC.

I don't know why I'm even bothering to explain this stuff; it's SO basic, and all covered in the wheel/tire fitment thread.

Damnit, it's NOT THAT HARD.

If your car is a 4-lug, it is 4x114.3
If you car is a 5-lug, it is a 5x114.3

If the wheels will fit what's on your car, with a 42 offset, they will work.
