That's what the makers claim, and as far as I can tell they're right. I'm running a 1.7 Rtek chip right now, too, and I've hit about 11psi without fuel cut.

The key is to make sure you don't have boost creep, even if you have already ported the WG same. My T2 was fine at 11-12psi on a stock s5 turbo, but when the cold weather hit, even the wastegate porting that was already there didn't do the trick and I would get 15psi+ boost spikes.

Also get a wideband on there. Make sure the fuel pump is rewired.

With that setup you will stomp stock C5's and stock STi's all day. I know I did.

Isn't it pointless running both the SAFC and Rtek at the same time?

i would say 12 psi also. i have almost identical mods and thats what i would run. yea make sure that wastegate is ported enough. i sopposably got my s4 turbo ported and it ended up to be not nearly enough. there is a write up on the diy porting on here which is what i did. s4 turbo wastegates are horrible stock if you already didnt know. wideband would be great and also make sure you have a aftermarket boost gauge to measure what boost you are hitting..the stock one on the bezal will not tell you nothing..
