This is the inside lip of my passenger side wheel. The tire bead is still seated, and I'm not losing air pressure. Any thoughts? The tires are stretched juuust a bit, so there probably really isn't much contact with that part of the rim when the lip was there anyways?

as soon as the tire sees lateral stress or you hit a decent size bump, its going to unseat and youll lose air.

i wouldnt trust my car and my safety with that

I'd say it was safe to roll on/off a flatbed, yes.

Oh, come on.
Was there ever doubt?

That's the kind of pic that would be awesome if prefaced with, "I was running my FC in the Baja 1000, ran over a hidden meth lab and made the last 300 miles with this chunk of wheel missing and Gaulterio Blanco wedged in the grill!"

Yup, awesome.

If, on the other hand, you ask, "Is this wheel OK enough to cruise In-and-Out before drifting in the Sears parking lot?", well then, you're an idiot.

Lol. Thanks guy.

I've never had a wheel damaged in this way. I don't know exactly how a tire seats to a wheel. So I wasn't sure. I had already tried finding a replacement, just made this thread incase it wasn't necessary and was solely a cosmetic thing.

Asking if this is okay to drive on is like asking if it's OK to drive on a control arm that is broken and pieces have broken off it, but it still holds well enough to support the cars weight.

Ask yourself these questions
1)Will I be able to still drive it possibly? yes
2) will the damage get worse ? yes good chance 3)will it potentially make my car undriveable? yes
4) should I fix it before driving? Yes most definitely
