oil and gas don't mix; it is the nature of rotary that will "sips out" during combusion for sake of rotor lubrication.

if the oil metering pump has been removed then you would have to premix, that is ONLY if the pump has been removed. And they do burn some oil.

No.

If you did remove the MOP, you would mix in two cycle oil, not standard four cycle motor oil.

On a stock '7, fill the tank with gas and keep the engine oil level "full." The car will mix it for you.

Do a search for premix, 2-stroke, or 2-cycle oil. If you have normal oil consumption, of about 1 quart in <1500 miles, you're probably ok. Keep the motor oil topped off.

If your metering oil pump is in unknown condition or if oil consumption is very low, I'd add some 2-stroke oil to each tank. Marvel and Lucas UCL's can also be used.

Marval and Lucas oils are not acceptable premixes. Marval is a lightweight oil not certified for this use. Lucas products are snake oil.

To the original poster, there is no need to premix oil with the fuel if the stock metering oil system is still installed.

The way I understand it, any 2 cycle oil that is rated TCW-3 is OK to use for premix purposes

I didn't say that Marvel/Lucas were substitutes. Neither are snake oils.
If you have a working MOP, you can add anything you want to the gas for more lubrication.
Until the owner verifies MOP failure or removal, what the owner uses is his business.

So your saying if you want extra lubrication even if the omp/mop is still operational we can use a "light-weight" oil like Marvel? I believe my omp/mop still works but I don't mind to have added lucrication to protect my car.

No. Do not premix wth Marvel Mystery Oil. Use a certified two stroke oil.

You should not need "extra lubrication" unless you are at the track.
