Question SAFC and throttle position problem

Ok here is what happened to me today. As I was driving to work I glance down at my SAFC to see it reading at about 35% throttle, which seemed very odd to me as I was cruising down the road at about 55ish MPH and 3k rpm in 4th gear, no reason to be at 35% throttle. After further examination, I discovered that the SAFC showed 100% throttle way before I was close to being at the point, maybe another 2in (estimated) of pedal travel before physically reaching WOT. Does anyone have a clue as to why this could randomly happen? Is there a way to reset the SAFC and how to properly set it up for our cars? As, my car seemed to be bogging down at around 3500 RPM and the "new" 70% throttle which really was I would guess about 1/2 throttle.

reinitialize the SAFC and pump the throttle a few times, that should set it's range again. If that doesn't work, verify the sensor is still good.

How exactly do I do this? Is there a certain process?

It's in the manual, I haven't used an SAFC in so long I can't describe it exactly. Check out the apexi website if you need to get a copy of the manual.

Well, resetting got my percentages back to where they were supposed to be. Still got that 70% throttle hiccup a few times as I drove tonight, dunno whats up with that. Ill have look at all my gauges as its happening.

So how did you do it? My has always done the same thing as you described, but I was told it was normal due to short range TPS. Are S4 and S5 tps the same?

s4 and s5 TPS's are different, I hear that no matter what, an s4 will register 100% throttle way before you hit the actual limit, thats the way of the design.
