ok, it worked great before i swapped my harness, and maybe i plugged something in wrong, but if i add fuel via the safc, it leans out the mix according to the narrowband a/f guage.
i know these are inaccurate, but still. my old settings are way off now, the car ran like mess. so i inverted the settings and it runs better, but still way off.
what would cause this?
i know about the safc section, but no one goes there.

yeah i checked those and they all look good.
any chance it could be a different setting in the safc that can be agjusted, similar to the throttle type adjustment?

I don't see what would cause that since I don't think your car would even start with the wires not hooked up right. I do remember someone on here saying something similar was happening to them though.

Strange.

I have not encountered this before. I don't know if this could be it but possibly you may have wired the AFM wires backwards? I don't know if the engine would even run then or if the SAFC would even see voltage on the "output" wire that, if wired backwards, would be getting input voltage from the AFM...

Double check your settings. I know if you have the TPS arrow to the left, the thorttle percentage will actually decrease from 100% instead of increase from 0%. I don't know if that would cause the SAFC to adjust AFR in reverse though.

deffinatley check the tps type, number of "cylinders" and all the other stupid settings. also, never trust a narrow band, they are like the anti-christ.

Is that because you don't know how to use one? Narrow bands are fine for monitoring the AF Mixture and rough tunes if you know how to use them. As long as you have a good gauge and O2 Sensor, you are fine.

Normally I see this when someone has accidentally set their AFM type as "hot wire".
