S5 vLSD Question!

Does anyone know if the LSD carrier in the Turbo II and the GTUs are the same?

I'm wondering if the half-shafts are interchangable.

If anyone has access to part sheets or anything, see if the LSD for the S5 GTUs and the S5 Turbo II is the same?

i dont know if they are interchangeable but i know that the GTUs rear end has a different gear ratio. GTUs is 4.33 and the TurboII is 4.10. if they are both 5 spd

So the GTU would have a faster acceleration than the Turbo, correct? If they both had the same power...

Yes. But the turbo has much more power, so it is much faster.

I imagine my 1990 GXL came with the same 4.10 gears as the Turbo correct?
