s5 turbo on s4

do s5 turbo bolt up to a s4? thanks

yes, but make sure you keep the oil and water lines for your s4, because the lines off of the s5 turbo won't work

You must use the S5's exhaust manifold.

Are you sure? I read somewhere and always thought S5 water and oil lines were supposed to be used with an S4 block.

Let me know because now I'm confused now...

i know the oil lines are definatley different because of the difference in oil metering pumps, coolant may be the same, not really sure

hmm i have a S5 exhaust manifold on my S4... but then again i have a t3/t4 hybrid... but the stock S4 turbo woulda bolted to it no prob too

I didn't have any problems using the S5 oil/coolant lines on the S4 engine. And yea, you need the S5 manifold and S5 heat shields.

What kinda power gains will you see with the S5 turbo bolted on a S4 engine?

better spool up, but no real power gains over a s4 running the same boost pressures. The s5 has a MUCH better wastegate design.

The S4 turbo will not bolt to the S5 manifold, or vice versa. The flange pattern is totally different.
