S5 turbo into S4

I may get an S5 turbo, and just wanted to check if it will bolt up to the S4 downpipe once in place on the S5 exhaust manifold.

Also, are the center housings the same from S4 to S5?

Thanks

Swap the Turbo manifold and cap the twin scroll vac lines and you should be fine. S4 and S5 dp is the same.

I want to say no, but I truly have no idea.

All parts are identical except for the turbine housing and the "T" pipe for the Kouki turbo.

You'll also need to swap the oil drain pipes.
Some have complained that it doesn't fit.

Here's the definitive comparison between S4 and S5 turbos:

The compressor wheels are the same.
The compressor housings are the same.
The centre housings are the same.
The turbine wheels are the same.
The exhaust connections are the same.
The wastegate actuators are the same.
The coolant flow and return lines are the same.
The oil supply lines are the same.

The exhaust manifolds are different; S4 has twin-scroll control flap, S5 is fully divided.
The exhaust housings are different; S5 has dual wastegate to suit divided manifold.
The oil drain lines are different; S5 is longer to clear OMP.
The metal wastegate lines are different; S5 has a tee for the boost control solenoid valve.

ok, great. I just need the center housing and probably the turbine wheel and shaft, there still seems to be some oil leaking around the one i rebuilt, so as long as these bits are the same, i'm happy
