s5 turbo
does the s5 turbo have some kind of internal wastegate? im trying to put one on a 12a but there is a vacume thing that links to the turbo on the T2 and it seems like it would be a wastegate, if i have an external wastegate already can i remove this from the turbo? or is it something else.

yes is has an internal wastegate.
if you are planing to use an external one. I would take off the turbo back plate and weld the stock one shut. as well as leaving the vacum line off.
