newbie here...need some info...

ok guys...i'm a newbie here...i was really into the silvias and stuff but now i'm leaning toward FC's...i know a lot about the silvias and how to get them up there in the hp...

well heres the deal....if i was to get a 88-91 fc....what would it take to get it to 275-325 hp range...if i can't take it up that high w/ stock n/a motor (which most likely i'm gonna get cuz it's hard trying to find a turbo fc around here...)....how much would i be planning on spending....i.e. new motor, intake, exhaust, new turbo, fmic, bov, ecu...blah blah blah....

cuz w/ silvia's, i can just drop an rb25det and i'd have 250 hp on tap...stock for a mere $4500...

also...this is the most newbie question of all but the fc's are rwd aren't they....what's w/ people talking bout fwhp?

They are RWD.

I think the FWHP is Fly Wheel Horse Power.

umm... get the turbo ver if u can...its worth the bucks...but sometimes u can find an NA for half the cost [like me]

i think the best thing u could do is do more research on the net, instead of us telling u everything we know....
go to the FAQs above somewhere in this section....it has good links

and yes its RWD so u can do all of this u want >>>>

If you are comfortable with fabbing your own parts, and know your way around a cutting torch and welding rig, then by all means, rock on. Otherwise, save your pennies and start an APB for a turbo.
