Not having high impedence injectors is nice, too, as there won't be another gadget I have to find and wire in.

I'd like to have an S5 for the extra 20hp starting point, the better turbo, and the higher RPM. In the end I'll probably run whichever the "importer" sells me because none of them seem to have a clue whether it's an S4 or S5 block they're listing.

Yeah but the eBay sellers and most of the importer's websites don't have pics of the ACTUAL motor...all stock photos...so you have no idea what it looks like or anything.

Ok if I go with the RTek 1.8 chip, their website says the minimum injector size will be 720cc all around. Does not mean I won't need piggyback fuel controller?

Who do you guys suggest for injectors? I see Venom 720's on eBay but I seem to recall there being issues with Venom.

 

you will still need a piggyback fuel controller for the 1.8. It will run ungodly rich at high rpm with 4x 720 injectors, you will need a safc to tune it.
They said the minimum size is 720 because the injector map is based on a 720cc injector. You put a 550cc in and it will spray out very little fuel compared to a 720cc because of the map and you will blow the engine up or so.

RC injectors are great, and denso and its rebranded ones like greddy.
