S5 tii jspec engine question

S5 tii jspec engine question

I have an 87 tii and gonna buy a s5 jspec engine block and use my manifolds and s5 turbo on the new block will that be all I need to do need to be sure it will work.

You will need to swap the front cover, omp, throttle body, injectors, and other various sensors. Leave the S5 intake manifolds on the engine.

Then just swap the front cover if you are still using the factory oil injection. Be careful not to crush your needle bearings.

Could I block it off and run premix? Is that better I have read some different things about it

premix is the way to go IMO but ya with the s5 block you will need to put the s4 front cover on then swap all your s4 stuff onto it when you swap the front cover make sure the front of the engine is pointing up in the air so you don't crush thrust bearings

Pick up an S5 LIM/UIM so the port size matches. S5s are slightly larger diameter.
