S5 TII Build
I've been looking into rebuilding/upgrading my turbo. I've decided on shipping it out to Gpopshop and having them do the rebuild. I'm hoping to push 12-14psi with it rebuilt. Along with the turbo, I'm doing 4x 1000cc injectors, Walbro 255 lph fuel pump, and gonna run an rtek 2.1 more than likely. I was wondering if there's anything else in there that I might be missing or should do along with this to make sure I don't blow the engine.
Any info and advice will be awesome, thanks everyone.

Turbo power, activate!

if you are using the stock turbo 4x 720 injectors will do fine at 12-14 psi, though at that psi level make sure you get a good intercooler, if you are running that on the stock top mount intercooler its not going to do any good unless you are running water/meth injection

What a coincidence, we just did our first tune with the RTek yesterday. I believe the car details are in the signature except that we are running 720cc and 1000cc injectors in the primaries and secondaries respectively. We chose the RTek's 720/720 injector configuration.
Even with those injectors we ran LEAN, not rich. We also dropped the point at which the secondaries kick in to IIRC 3300 rpm and were still lean. You don't mention anything about your system but with all the efficiency gains from the BNR turbo, the porting and the exhaust, we flow a ton of air and had to add about 20% fuel across the board to keep the boosted AFRs in RETed's recommended 10.5-11 range.
We still have the stock boost controller in effect and for some reason we only see ~4psi max. The stock air pressure sensor and the add-on Zeitronix air pressure sensor both agree on that. We have an HKS EBC we'll be putting on shortly and taking the boost up to around 12.
If you're getting the RTek I suggest you start looking for a compatible Palm now. digitaltuning will turn your ECU around in one day but the Palm will be the long pole. The Palms have been out of production for a long time now and the serial cables are hard to find (digitaltuning isnt carrying most of them anymore) and the batteries won't be able to hold much if any charge.
We bought a pristine Sony Clie N760 for $20 off Craigslist. But digitaltuning didnt have the serial cable anymore (USB wont work) but referred me to a vendor in Chicago (http://www.expansys-usa.com). It took 5 days before they shipped it to me and then promptly deleted the cable from their website. After three days of waiting I ordered one from HongKong on ebay just in case but it'll be a month before that arrives.
The original battery on the Clie would last about 15 minutes on a full charge. You can get new batteries for cheap on ebay from China but I found one from ipods99.com for $34.50 shipped from DFW. It took 15 minutes to open the case and replace the battery and now it lasted thru our tuning session still at 100% battery.
Once we get the HKS EBC installed we'll set it for 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and then 12 psi and tune for each boost level. The RTek's matrix is boost vs RPM.
Hope that's useful and good luck on your project.

Wow, its hard to believe that with that much fuel you couldn't tune out the lean spots; if that's what I gathered correctly from your first sentance.
What I've done with my Rtek is download a Palm simulator or emulator to my laptop, then used a null modem cable to communicate with the Rtek, lots of poeple so it this way and there is a thread for it in the Rtek section, check it out.

I plan on using my laptop to do the ecu tuning with the Rtek. I've done a bit of looking around on forums, and my goal in the end is to be around 300whp. I think it's possible, I haven't decided on a FMIC. It'll likely be a godspeed and from what I've learned, I'll be running 4x720cc injectors or 720cc primaries and 1000cc secondaries. The injectors I'm looking into are these https://www.rx7club.com/vendor-classifieds-276/injector-dynamics-942987/. I've done a bit of research on them and they seem like they're really good, any info or advice would be great. Thanks.

Oh thanks. I'll have to look into that. Right now the kid drives while I have a laptop for the Zeitronix data logging and the Clie for tuning. The vert's cabin is really big enough for all that! Alt Tab would be much easier! Damn, I wish digital tuning had that option on their site!
