s5 tII ? Boy this was stupid

So I am starting to put a tII togethor and while redoing all the hoses I dropped part of the vacume hose off the old motor about 2 inches worth right down the oil filler neck. The top of the neck was off and I will be damned if it didnt go right in.Idiot question here.Would it have went into the oil pan because I actually heard it drop.Or amd I screwed and its in the block.

A buddy of mine had just rebuilt the 302 in his mustang, and during its first run (first time it had ever ran since being rebuilt) he managed to drop the air cleaner wing nut down the carb. The engine ingested the wing nut and the nut melted onto the top of one of the pistons.

It was one of those "OH **** NOOOO!!!" type of moments, but we laugh about it now.

Anyway, yeah, it'll surely be in your oil pan.

Our tube goes strait to the pan. Try using a flashlight and peeking down the tube and if it got jammed get long needle nose. Since that didnt work time to drop the pan.
And piston engines go to the valve cover so if its not small enough to fit down an oil galley nothing would happen. The intake however is a different thing.
