S5 tail light replacement lens?

Anybody know of a supplier for S5 tail light lenses other than Mazda? To replace a cracked lens, just the surface part rather than replace the whole thing?

I'd assume a junk yard one would be much better price. But really, not sure of any vendor.

The lens is actually a two part piece. For instance, the guy who advertises that he makes them look real modern...? He heats the tailight until the sealant melts, takes the lenses, then the diffuser out and reseals them. Essentially that's what's going on, though someone might say they have a magic method.

So, how do you fix? Outside of buying another light...see above, you'll need either a new red or yellow (turn signal piece) of the plastic. If you find the plastic...broken lamp that has the piece intact that you need?...heat the lamp in an oven to melt the sealant...black,
sticky stuff, take off the broken yellow or red part, put the new piece in place and reseal, or remove all the original black caulk and reseal with new 3M black, waterproof caulk.

Frankly, its much easier to find a new taillight and replace yours...

Its a question of what you consider expensive. Its all relative and how you want your car to look and how much work you want to do yourself. By all means, find a broken lens and fix it.
I've done it myself to many S5 tails. BUT, if the red or yellow is broken, you'll generally need to find a complete piece. Can you post a pic of what is broken or describe the issue you have? Maybe I've got a piece left over that will fit...

I bought my S5 tails from a junkyard for $35, try that.

otherwise, hobby stores usually sell little sticks of plastic you can melt into whatever you want, at my old job these were often used to repair furniture. You can find pretty much any color you want, event the translucent red and yellow used the in S5 tails(I have a few sticks of each actually).
