S5 t2 oil metering limp mode...

So im working on a S5 t2 and it keeps going into limp mode and throwing a code for the OMP. So i have a few laying around the shop and swapped them out and it will drive fine for a couple miles then go into limp mode again. any ideas? wiring? bad ecu? maybe theres a fuse or relay i dont know about?

Thanks in advance,
Ryan

Bad OMP usually takes out ECU. Good chance both could be gone.

Stop driving it as soon as you can. Your OMP is bad.

The code for the OMP automatically puts the ECU into limp mode. The only thing you can do is put in a known good OMP or have the ECU chipped with an Rtek chip which disables the OMP circuitry. BUt now you have to mix oil in your gas.

You may be burning up ECU's here. The limp mode failure is known to subsequently burn out the ECU. I have burned one in my S5 vert.

Good luck!
