s5-s4 tb converson

heres my Q: has any one ever converted an s4 tps to an s5 tps or vice versa. i know the wiring doesnt match up. but what else ids differnet and is it posible

well i know the tps sensor from both models are different... one is a shorter range than the other one... i do not believe they would work with different ecus because the output signal varies from the two... just buy a s5 tps and be done with it

the problem is im short on cash and a new one is $200. its getting wores every day and i have about 4 of every party for an s4. i figured i could do a temp swap for about a month

S5 doesn't obvious have the linkage for the mechanical OMP on the S4.
For all intent and purposes, they are not directly swappable.

Here is an idea, buy a used one, there are tons of guys who have spare tps's lying around. all you gotta do is post in the forsale section of the classifids and let people knwo what part you need. odds are they are not going to charge you an arm and a leg for such a little part.

You do realize that the non-turbo versus turbo TB's are mounted upside-down compared to each other?

oh also by the way you can get a TPS sensor for your S5 NA from Advance Auto Parts for $139
