s5 rear bumper problem

hey guys, need some help. I'm in the middle of doing an s4 to s5 conversion to my exterior, and no matter what i do, i can't seem to get the rear bumper to sit right. I'm still using the series 4 reinforcement, should i swap it for the series one?? has anyone encountered this problem before?? any help or advice would be really appreciated, as i really wanna drive my damn car car again!!!

nope, mine matched perfectly, i had to remove my tailights to get the bumper on and off. other than that and the trim ( which was a pain in the *** to get off the car ) it went all well for me and the swap

im presuming he wanted to say was it doesnt line up on the side where the trim is, i broke my bolts when i took the bumper off the donor car and i just screwed the new bumper on the sides to the body ( all the water splashes all the time there and there not covered like the inside ones )

well sometimes you have to grab it like a man and put it where it needs to go, it does not always jump right on there and have all the holes line up perfectly, sometimes it takes a little persuasion

dont tighten the bolts too much or the bumper will deform, try shaping the metal of the 1/4 a bit then fitting the bumper again
