Im trying to find out some basic stuff about a s4 vert & a s5 coupe.

Im looking to put a s5 block with s4 externals in my s4 vert.
i have a aluminum flywheel with a counter weight from my s4, well i want to put it on my s5 block, will this work?

also do the power window door switches from a vert work with a coupe thats powered?

also the door panels, will a s4 vert power window door panel work with a s5 coupe with power windows?

one last question. Fuel injectors: do my s4 fuel injectors work on a s5 motor or are the the same cc?

 

No, the rear counterweight must match the rotors. You'll need one from an S5 NA. The S4 version will cause an imbalance.

IIRC, all FC window switches can be interchanged. There's definitely no difference within the same series, but the design changed in '89.

Convertible and coupe doors, door panels and window regulators are all different. I don't think you'll be able to interchange any of this.

'87.5-'88 S4s would have high impedance injectors like S5s, but the plug shape is different.

 

how can you tell the difference between a aftermarket s4 & a s5 counter weight that bolts on to a aftermarket flywheel.
