:( S5 max out

well, the other night i maxed out my basically stock 90 Rx-7 at close to 120!!! what the hell, in fourth gear. is something wrong. i got my 86 up to 130 and i shifted into 5th , not like i had much of anything in 5th but still. the S5 does have more hp, yet weighs a little more but should be able to pull off at least 120 right?? I dont know what to check of anything, any help would be appriciated.
Thanks

remember they are slower at night, and a S5 is 150-200 lbs heavier depending on model.

But you probably just need a tune up

Slower at night... I assume this is sarcasm.

Lower temps would = higher air density which would = more power.
Lower temps would = higher air desnity which would = more wind resistance.

I'd think at most these would balance out, but looking at my 1/4 mile logs, looks like lower temps = lower times which = faster theoretical (non-limited) speed.

I agree, tune-up.

Depends on the intake as to how it would offset.

Slower at night is true! With the headlights up there is more aerodynamic drag.

As far as I know, all n/a tranny's are the same. The t2's do have a lower gear ratio for acceleration.
