S4 Turbo Water line questions

So got one line an have no clue where I should hook it up two, checked the service manual and hanyes but does not apply to my case and it seems to have been changed by previous owner.

You have the wrong line on the outside. It should go "up" and have a 2 bolt flange to bolt to the intake. You can see it on the turbo on the right.

I see in the pictures that its supposed connect onto the block, but as you can see in my pictures the line doesnt even have the end connector that would hook up. So I;m trying to figure out how it was run.

So is my only option now to get a line that runs up ?

it looks like someone put the same coolant line on both sides. the easiest way is to find another stock line, post a wanted ad, someone here has one.

Thanks for the help, I found one in the rx7 graveyard I have. Going to remove it and replace it.

that's scary...

I don't understand how that could happen I'm assuming before you turbo just wasn't getting any coolant?

also, it goes to the bottom of the 2 flanges on the upper intake manifold that look the same, the other one (the welded one) originally went to the cat.
