S4 TPS...tunability on a piggyback?
This may belong in the EMS section but the question is relatively 2nd gen specific.
Should the S4's narrow range TPS be finite enough for even a basic tune? or should I use another signal, such as the boost sensor?
I am using an emanage but any input on the TPS's ability in other systems will be greatly appreciated

too late to edit:

Should I USE the TPS signal for tuning? or should I wire the boost sensor to the Emananage in place of it for tunability?
or will the narrow range be sufficient? I know it goes to 100% at something like 1/4 throttle...I imagine that will make tuning of any description difficult

I copy/pasted this from the S-AFC forum, SureShot wrote these: "All S4's have only a short range TPS. It hits the end of its stroke at 1/4 throttle. Only the S5's came with a full range TPS.
There are some threads here on using the boost signal into the gray THR wire on the S-AFC.
That way it goes to the high map only when boost is high."
"The easiest option is the use the boost signal for the throttle input signal.
That way you get the high map when you actually need it, not when you may need it.
Tha S-AFC is happy with either"
If you want the full details, though you may not need it go to: https://www.rx7club.com/super-afc-123/safc-ii-help-526996/
