Unhappy S4 T2 Will Not Rev PAST 3800 *VIDEO*

87 turbo 2 with newly swapped 88 turbo 2 engine, stock ecu, reset the timing to stock. would really like to resolve this problem, builds a ton of boost just idling and when it slowly gets to 3800 it hits a brick wall. Bouncing like a launch controller. I was thinking MAF sensor but it could also be secondary injectors not firing.

I tested compression and the lowest was 95psi and the highest being 110.

It might be the video but it sounds like you are running on one rotor. Check if all of your injector clips are connected. Pressure sensor have good vacuum running to it? Or is it plugged in?

sounds like the timing is way too retarded and the secondary injectors won't engage.

why is your buzzer on??

The secondary injectors won't fire unless the engine is under load and above 3500 or so rpm so the problem occuring is being burdened by the "primary injectors."

Timing would be my guess as well. You shouldn't be able to make boost that easily free-revving it unless you have fuel igniting really late.

Let me know if you figure the coolant light problem out. I'm in a recently TII swapped n/a and my coolant light keeps popping on for no apparent reason.
