Symptoms of failing injectors?

I did some tuning on my car two days ago and today I have had a lot of problems that may have been triggered by that. I want to know what the symptoms of failing fuel injectors are because i believe that my problem is there or at the fuel pump. Here is the long explanation of what happened.

My setup
S4 n/a block
Hybrid turbo
FMIC
550 pri, 720, sec
Fd fuel pump
rtek 2.1
apexi avcr

Sunday I got a decent tune on the car at 10.3 psi with the afrs around 11.3 - 11.6. According to the rtek my injector duty cycle was at 85% - 87% during that time. There was some spiking to 1 bar a couple of times which I'm sure the duty cycle was nearly maxed out, sadly I didn't log it to verify.

Now today on the way to work everything is perfect and the car boosted great. About 6 hours through the day i start to the car to go to the gas station and it dies at the first corner. Cranks back up normally and everything is fine. So 2 hours and 30 mins later its time to leave, I start the car and it dies at the 1st corner again. Get to the stop light and it does it again. I start it once more, and when I step on the gas the car hesitates badly and jerks. The wideband is reading 17ish at this point. I pull over and the car is idling at 600 - 690rpm and the wideband is jumping from 15 - 17. Pop the hood and everything is fine. Go to the gas station, turn the car off and it wont turn back on. 15 minutes later I got it started and drove it home. The entire time the afrs are not where they normally are.

After I got home, I swapped the Afm but nothing changed. I took the uim off and sprayed everything with degreaser and shot some air into the injector connectors. After i put everything back together and started the car it was acting normal (idle around 1k) for a few minutes then the afrs at idle went from 13ish down to 16. Took it for a test drive and its not as bad as before but its not correct. Sometimes the afrs are normal then they go super lean. My only guess is that I managed to overheat the primary injectors and now they don't function as they normally should.

Does anyone have any experience of failing injectors so I can at least know im headed in the right direction?
