S4 t2 water pump differences

I don't currently have both to compare but it there a major diffrent e between the turbo and the NA one? Besides the bolting pattern on them? I think I'm running an NA one on my turbo set up,... And have noticed that it does run warmer than my other fc with a turbo one and a stock plastic radiator....

the actual water pump is the same, 8AF1-15-100A for all the S4's

the water pump housing differs on the turbo by having a hose nipple for the turbo water supply.

keep in mind the water pump housings do tend to erode where the water pump impeller rides which will cause a reduction in water pump efficiency. the beveled surface should be smooth and flat, if it's 'etched' it probably is hurting the cooling system's ability to keep the engine cool.

i swap turbo and non turbo pumps all the time, there's no difference between them but the series does matter. S5 has an additional mount hole at the bottom of the pump and the snout is a larger diameter.

i know the pump housings have problems interchanging between series, i believe the s5 water pump housing will hit the front cover and needs to be ground down to fit. then you will also need the series 5 fan clutch assembly for the 8 bolt pump.
