s4 t2 trouble

s4 t2 trouble

okay i was getting on the freeway started to accell in 3rd not WOT and then i lost power and now my car wont rev above 4k and when it does go up to 4k it is studering and backfireing all the way it doesnt overheat and i have oil pressure turbo builds boost and it idels there is a lowed clicking or ratteling noise at idel coming from what sound slike the turbo / intake manifold area im thinking i either threw a apex seal or i have a super bad vac leak none of my intercooler pipeing is blown off or anything like that afm is plugged in and im going to investigate further tomorow morning

any ideas as to what could be wrong

secondary fuel injectors not opening. check the wiring to the injectors. Depending on mileage, have them sonically cleaned and rebuilt.

best if you do a compression check.
if compression still good check you VAC hoses, BAC, and backing firing is cause by faulty or fouling plugs.

yeah i agree sounds like the secondary injectors need to be looked at

the motor isent even a year old it probably has about 4k miles on the rebuild it also has 3mm apex seals

Blown engine. A RX will rev to over six grand on primarys alone.

Huh? At 3800 it splits the fuel load between the two sets of injectors, so on only primaries its only getting half the needed fuel, right? That sound like it would cause the symptoms he described.
Also, how does it run below 4k? Any problems?

front rotor 90-90-90 rear rotor 0-0-0 what do i do now i have about 2 grand in the bank
