The s5 water pump housing will not line up on the repu front cover because it has an extra notch but would a s4 water pump housing work i was going to use the repu water pump housing but it only gets held down by two bolts in stead of three even tho the pattern is the same

 

Ummm if your engine is a s4 then use a s4.

 

Just as long as you use the same series water pump...

The water pumps are different and not interchangable.

not what i was asking bubt than again i dont know whow to explain to ask questions lol. iam putting a s5 engine into a repu.
s5 water pump housing wont match up to repu front cover on s5 engine
repu water pump will match up to s5 but it doesnt have the thermo switch 1. hose inlet for coolant 2. and only bolts up in two spots in stead of three.
s4 water pump housing fits for repu front cover on s5 engine =)

The water pump housings don't necessarily fit the front covers.
I know it works one way, but it doesn't work the other way around.

Why do you care about the thermoswitch for?
If it matters, the thermoswitch all trigger at the same time.

when i type fast from my iphone it gets a lil screwy.
yes the s5 water pump hits the front repu front cover.
i installed a s4 water pump housing on my s5 front iron with repu front cover and sets up nicly
