Ha ha ha

That was funny. The problem is Chris doesnt have a big enough post count. It seems no matter how much you know it's hard to get any respect around here without a huge post count.

Just cause you have a big post count doesnt mean you know anything, look at me I'm over a grand and I know **** all

Remember, size don't matter.. it's how you use it

But hell Graham, you've come a long way since last summer.. did you actually thinnk that you would ever pull your own upper intake off or do your own turbo swap??

Mind you, I got alot of help from alot of people in the past to get me to my current familiarity with the car..

I do have to give a big thanks to Ted.. When I got my first T2 he always had the time and patience to listen to my ramblings, questions and whining on irc.. He always gave me great advice and best of all he never made me afraid to work on my own motor, which is one of the best traits in getting to know the cars.. if you arn't afraid of trying things and potentially ******* things up, you'll always learn what works, and what doesn't...

I've had some disagreements with Hailers and Irv in the past as well, but their knowledge has also cleared up a few grey areas for me..There have been others as well.. BlueTII, copanengr, etc .. The trick is to find out who knows what they are talking about, and who is mearly guessing....

Oh yeah.. Max, I can't forget him either He's like mcgyver to me.. always has a fix or workaround when things get hairy.. Without having him around things would definitly progress slower

I get hassled all the time by the local guy's cause when I first bought the car I swore to them I was going to leave it stock, since then it's seen it's fair share of modifications. Most of which would never have occured had I not found info and help with the local guys and members of this forum. You learn pretty quick who knows what they're talking about on here. I think the key is to just jump in and give it a try. There is always more than one right way to do something, you have to learn for yourslef what works best. My fat arms have me finding different ways of getting at stuff that the skiny guys (Chris, Max) have no problem with.
