im changing a s5 electrical OMP to a mech. one, would i have to also use the s4 oil injectors or are they the same?

Injectors are the same, but remember that the S5 ECU will go into limp-mode if you remove the metering oil pump. You can't bypass it in any fashion. The only other choice is to go to a standalone EMS.

 

no I don't think they are. but I think they interchange fine.

 

the motor is going into a S4, using the s4 ECu, and so on.

 

The oil injectors on the ORIGINAL engines are different.&nbsp The Kouki ones are one-piece.&nbsp If you try and buy oil injectors for your Zenki, they will sell you the newer one-piece ones.&nbsp The oil injectors really have no bearing on mechanical or electronic OMP.&nbsp Most of the original oil injectors are all BAD anyways - try and do the blow-and-suck test - I bet most of them will fail.

Also, the later '89-91 oil injectors are MUCH easier to remove and re-install from the engine, since the body of the injector is 6-point for a wrench to be applied.
