s4 to s5 int conversion
i'm wondering how much of the s5 interior can i put into the s4. i know the instrament panel needs to be mod, what about everything else? what is the difference? thanks for all your great input!
I beleive the difference is in the seat belt panels because the S4's have manual belts and S5's have mouse(automatic) belts. I don't really see a point to all this stuff but its your money.

well, i have a 87 tII with perfect condition blue leather int. but i really like black. i'm thinking about picking a set of S5 black int. just wanted to know what needs to be modified to fit the s4. so do i need to modify the seat belt panel or if i change everything, would it just fit? thanks
What about having your interior colored black? I have seen people do it. I think the hard part would be the plastic peices. Maybe you can just buy the black trim and color the rest at an upholstry shop?

i rather sell the blue int to someone looking for a perfect condition int. but isn't there some difference to the int from the s4 to s5. the s5's int is a little more modern isn't it?

I think the parts that won't fit are the seat belt parts. The A-pilar and the rear part behind the seats. To me its pointless to do the work for zero gain other than asthetics but thats just me.
Some people on here have done it after their interiors got trashed. Tak I think is one of them maybe he will drop in and post.

hey
i have swapped my s4 to s5 the difference are that the center trim surrounding the stereo and shifter are a nice rubber which over time won't crack like the s4's plastic ones. also i am not sure about this but the arm rest on in the center may have the release lever on the side. oh and also the signal light and cruise control levers are a tad bit closer with the s5 setup. also the seat belts are different and the idiot light trim on the s5 has somewhat of a tilt forward to deflect the sun. thats as much as i can remember. oh and with the s5 trim you have to change over to the s5 vents for the center console. neways thats as much as i know on that since thats what i have done neways peace
