NO.

 

All FC turbo oil pumps are the same - 17.5mm width rotor.
All FC non-turbo oil pumps are the same - dunno the spec off-hand.

You can stuff an FC turbo oil pump into your non-turbo 13B no problem.
You'll get slightly higher (i.e. better) oil pressures.
In fact, racers do this all the time.

ok ihave kinda low oil pressure i have a na that had great oil pressure and since i have the front cover off and notice the pump chain has a good amount of play in gonna change the chain. i was hoping if i used the pump i might get better pressure plus maybe do the pressure regulator mod what do u think o plus is the oil pump timed like some injector pump

My buddy ran an N/A oil pump in his turbo swap and it ran fine. But IMHO, i would bite the bullet and get a new turbo pump. The turbo pump like Ted mention has thicker internals to pump more volume/pressure. (Its lubing the turbo and the engine).

You hear people say that the oil is the blood of the engine, well the oil pump can be consider the heart. I wouldnt skimp on it. My .02

 

If the pressure has been low since you removed and reinstalled the front cover, the problem is the o-ring. You installed the wrong o-ring, incorrect gasket, or the ring is otherwise damaged.

Play in the pump chain is of no consequence.
