Question S4 NA will not Idle.

Hey Guys,
I have made quite some progress thanks to the newbie tech section but there is another issue now that I would really like to get people's input on:

The car has an issue where it won't idle below two grand.
The FSM says in order for timing, idle mixture adjustment etc.
Can anyone lend some past topics or threads to the simple issue of not idling cold? My dad and I are going to be tackling the whole issue in one giant job at once. Vacuum lines or a complete emissions delete diagram so that I can test for vacuum leaks and maybe get this beast running.
Yes I have searched but my pc and phone won't run it properly.
I am Basically looking at the issue per FSM the idles needs to be at 750 rpms in order to check a few of these issues.

I will have pics and video of motor running hopefully by the middle of today Friday PST.

Thanks,

Sorry folks was a little tired when I typed this.
This part of post "The FSM says in order for timing, idle mixture adjustment etc" is ment that according the FSM the motor has to be running first before these things can be checked. Thanks,

May be your Maf is bad. Sticking thermowax might cause this.

Hey Folks I am back.
So My dad and I checked all we could and the TPS was reading 2k ohms and was adjusted to 1k ohms.
The car now, with the throttle slightly pressed allows the car to run at 750-800 Rpms.

Now on a side note is there a thread on how to check remove, repair the thermowax?
Vacum leaks have been checked for and none were found.

thanks,

Tim.

one final note: The car will die if I take my foot off the gas pedal.

Thanks,

What does the car idle at w/o the throttle being depressed or does it die if not depressed at all?

if the throttle is depressed, the lowest it can run at is 750 to 800 rpms.
If I don't give it any gas, it will start to sputter then completely shut off.

You could adjust a couple things if I recall,as I went TII.
The Idle screw on the Throttle body, the set screw on the Throttle body or the Throttle cable itself.
