S4 Engine into S5

So if I'm right, I just need to swap the longblock from the S5 onto the S4 block to be able to this right? I searched but couldn't find anything.

I have an S4 but it's really beat up and needs a lot of work, I have a good S5 daily driver but I blew coolant seals last week and I'm almost done rebuilding the S4 block and I want to put it in the S5 when I'm done. Thanks.

You'll have to just swap the short blocks to install it, keep everything s5. This also means keeping the s5 OMP. To use the s5 OMP you'll have to swap the front cover on your s4 block with the front cover of your s5 engine.

I don't think you've searched enough.
I've seen this here many times alot.

Try this: S4 TO S5 FROM ROTARY RESURRECTION

toss out the OMP and premix, must easier, and safer. I know people say its a pain, but really, its not.

that should be correct. Since your blocking it, there is no need for a different cover

The ECU will not work if the S5 OMP is not hooked up, you can still block off the front cover, but the OMP has to be hooked up and hanging somewhere.
