S4 bumper

I was wondering if anyone cut out the middle part of the s4 bumper (the plastic that makes rectangles is the best way i know what to call it). I love the s5 but don't have money to get one so trying to DIY me a better looking FC.

I forgot the persons name, but someone on here with a very clean 10th AE has a Greddy V-spec FMIC, and it looks like they cut out part of the bumper cover. I'd like to know more about that from him.

oh skydivr73, I loved reading all your posts on the super honda forum talking about trying to be an FD. Very respectful and informative and they were just ignorant asses.
