s4 aux port activation : cheap haha

was bored 2day, so went out 2 my house where I left the little pipe that goes from air pump to the first CAT and cut it. I cut it right before it has a little kink and then smashed the open end shut and welded it. I connected the good end back to the air pump output and the little nipple or what not back to the stock aux air in. It seems to be working ... perfectly. The aux ports seem to open all the way, just im not seeing the power up high as much as I thought I would. ..... any ideas? Shouldnt it be like a 20 hp gain from not having working aux ports?

(I had 2 do this because my cat was clogged + rusted. Also when I put in my new tranny the pipe snapped off. )

any ideas why there isnt a noticable difference?
