s4 s5 sending unit are they the same

s4 s5 sending unit are they the same

just like in the titlle i need to know if they are interchangable.. wasn't sure on the plug and mazdatrix lists them for 86-86 89-91..thanks in advance

the oil sending unit is located right below the oil filter and he wants to know if you can use a series 4 sending unit in a series 5 or vice versa. for those who still dont know what we are talking about its the unit that sends the oil pressure rateing to the oil pressure gauge.

i too wonder if you can interchange them. can anybody illustrate us with this?

Get your stories straight.

The oil pressure sending unit is the same for 86-91.
Fuel level sender is listed as S4/S5 specific and since I've never swapped them, I don't know what the difference might be.

well they look completely different s4 unit is bigger. thats why we are asking

What looks different...the oil pressure sender or the fuel level?
