Odd, I thought the RX-8 came stock with an 18x8 rim, 45MM offset IIRC.

You would need spacers if the 50mm offset is correct.. or they will rub your strut.

I think they look nice, on this one anyhow... now if they were just swapped onto a 7 with a different color\lip\ect they might be questionable.

18's are just too big for an FC in my opinion, i've never seen a set that didnt raise the car too high for my tastes.

no...only 2 wheel options were made.... the 18" five spoke for all 6-speeds/ auto's w/ sport suspension ... and 16" for automatic w/ basic suspension..... there was/ is no 17" option

you could get the 17 inch Mazdaspeed Rx-8 wheels. they're gunmetal magnesium wheels that weigh 15 pounds a piece. Pretty sweet wheels.
