^Rx8's came available with 5 speed manuals in other countries so there is a 5 speed ****.... See sig.

 

a friend has one on his FD (which has same threads as s5). it's pretty sick... comfortable, screws right on, looks good.

 

I've always wished I could get the RX-8 one on my S4....they are so sexy rotor shaped...mmm.....*sigh*

 

Yeah but I have never seen a 5sp **** at any reasonable price. Though the only place I ever found a 5sp **** was ebay at $200.

I got an S5 short shifter so I could use this **** in my S4.

 

I bought a 6 spd **** **** off ebay for $30 or so and just took out the shift pattern on top. Got it pretty much because my old shift **** was falling apart. Still looks good to me.

 

I've seen somebody who didn't want that 6 speed part..."marker" over it, and removed it, and you couldn't even tell. I can't remember for the life of me where in this forum it was, but yeah, it was pretty awesome.
