rx7's are addicting..

Everywhere i go in the world of RX7's always talks about getting a 2nd FC and makin it a race car. I personally dont have much money, but I love my '7 sooo much that buying a 89-91 w/ a blown out engine just to sit in my garage is tempting.

I think it would be fairly fun to not even have the 2nd car RUN, but rather strip the car of its parts and get a 'hands on' to how a rotory car is actually put together :p . and if the car is in better shape and/or has more options than my current '91, i'll just..well..u know..swap my engine and aftermarket parts onto that car and then have fun w/ my car now as a fun little car. If i was going to, i'd probably buy a blown tII, swap the aftermarket parts and just buy a rebuilt engine =)

I dont know if its just me...or is there something about our cars that just makes them SO FUN to just peek around and play with....even if you have nothin to put on them..you go under the hood and tweak it a little bit more just because you wanna work on it..i know i do...=)

I know my car is very addicting when it is running good. But when it is not running good and I can't find the problem(s) it just discourages me like a mo fo. But when it was running good, I was out there everyday, polishing the engine up & everything.

Sometimes I find myself poking around under the hood for no reason at all. I'd go with an 86-88 myself(maybe cause I have an 88), because of the weight. Good luck. BTW, once you get thoughts of an RX-7 through your head....it seems like owning anything other than an RX-7 would be cheating or sacrilege....lol. BTW....My heart doesn't pump blood, it spins it....

My motto is:

NO MORE DISPOSABLE CARS (mini-vans, SUVs, regular sedans, or anything that nobody wants after 3 years).

Replacing my daily driver with a 2nd FC (convertible) very soon.

Yep, I picked up both the hayes troubleshooting manual and now the official repair manual. Gonna fix that deceleration system myself

I love my CAR also!!
I blew an apex seal awhile back and so its just sitting there.
Sometimes I sit in the car and pretend I'm racing the car next to it and start trash talking the other car (which is my neighbours mustang btw) haha.
I can't wait till spring so I could get a rebuilt engine in my baby and start pumping 15 psi with extra injectors.

Hi everybody im FCTURBO2 and im addicted to 2nd gen RX-7. My car has been sitting in my driveway for 2 years now because of a blown motor. Last night i actually dreamed of my 7 that it was running and i was having so much fun with it. .. When i woke up this morning i went inside the car and started talking to it like it was a human being!..
