Just wondering if the hatchback supposed to stay up once you open it.
Mine doesn't.

check to see if theyre broken, or if anything is messed up, im not sure if there are any common problems w/ them on RX-7's but its an RXD-7 so there probably is a common problem
or get new hatch shocks

you need to struts.

8BF7-62-620 (R)
8BF1-62-620 (L)

Note: for lift gates with no wiper, you need -620A.
