Rx7 ressurection

HI! guys (and women)

I am kind new here, been lurking for months till my rex gets done. Thought I would just show off her progress. Just a little info about her. She is an 86 gxl, one owner 70,000 miles.

Here is a pic of her when I got her....

Now here are a few of her just the other day....

And here is a pic of the donor car that we might be selling some parts off of.

Just thought I would show her a little, I am getting excited to get her out and cruzing.

how would that make a difference, wouldn't it be just the same as if you were driving it?

for long trips its better to take off the shaft going from the tranny to the diff. Short trip shouldn't hurt it.

Yes, isn't the issue the trans, not the rear end? Hope so as i just used the same type of trailer to tug my REX 400+ miles to my new home.

Well, to answer the question of hauling it like that, we pulled the driveshaft before we towed it. The car was hauled from Crofton MD. to about 45 minutes southwest of Montreal Canada but still in NY state. Thanks for the cencern guys but it was well thought out before we transported it.

definitely needs a red hood, not that ugly thing it's got on.

Yeah, I think the hood is ugly, it will be red when it's finished. She is a work in progress like I said. I have found a TII parts car locally and plan on putting that hood on it, also have a line on a NA aluminum hood, it's a toss-up.
