Question Stock turbo swapping

I am going to swap a 91 turbo and manifold onto my 87 turbo II and am wondering what do I need to take off to get to the turbo, ie: intake mani. or smog pump, also is it very hard? Any answer would be greatly apprieciated since I live up in Alaska and there is not much help up here. I'm new to the site so I'm not sure how this works, here is my email address fc3sdriftdemon@yahoo.com

You're gonna have to take off the intake manifold and the air control valve to give you room to work down there, and you'll have to take the downpipe off to remove the turbo. It's not too hard, just take your time with it. Oh, you're also going to be disconnecting some oil and coolant lines, so be prepared for fluid spills. When you're done, make sure to top off the coolant again and check the oil level to make sure your good.

Beware of the heat sheilds around the turbo and exhaust manifold. They're a bitch and a half to remove.

ACV yes, but you can't remove the inlet manifold until the turbo's off.
