The tube goes to a little thingy that is on the Upper intake manifold, it is held on by a 10mm nut and bolt. You could take that off, then just plug the little hole, then you can just scrap the whole thing, hose and all.
There will be two tiny holes on the intake manifod that will need plugged. Wehn you take that thing off that I told you to before (the two 10mm nuts), there are two tiny holes under there, they will need plugged with something (just JB weld them up) or you will have a vacuum leak.

to make a long store short...I wanted to replace my 02 sensor, but I couldn't get off, so I took it to a muffler shop and the they were able to remove it for me. By the time I got home and checked the engine that's when I noticed what happened!
